The Challenge:  While WebMechanix had always been a font of knowledge for marketers, sometimes we got in our own way by creating very dense pieces with limited engagement. Our organic social presence was much more a rehash of other media without anything disruptive. With the pandemic, office culture had gone to rest, so we needed to create an online culture that represented us.

The Solution: Using a number of methods (more engaging blog posts), and charming – often timely – social media ads, we reignited the fire to prove that we were as fun as we were smart. In the ad below, we pulled from a thought leadership piece in which the creative department had a meeting across our Animal Crossing "islands". The team even created WebMechanix-branded gear for us all to wear in-game.
