The Challenge: As a member of AIMIA, a loyalty company, we were doing proprietary work for clients' internal loyalty programs and teams. While there, the UX Director and I conceived a product for managing internal loyalty programs for clients; it was portable, scalable, and immensely flexible. But development was being done in London and we had our own teams to manage in the US offices.
The Solution: Management gave us the green light on producing the product with our London office, resulting in travel to London about every six weeks as a part of the Agile process. In addition to hands-on work with the development teams, we still generated work with our US offices, creating corporate data visualizations for client presentations and additional print and digital work as requested. It was challenging but immensely rewarding as we saw the product grow from the initial designs below. Ultimately it was a project valued at $165MM.
(Two other data visualization pieces are attached to show the level of complexity we delivered while also working on a global project)
Role: UI lead, art direction, creative direction, remote team manager
